I'd love to hear about your design process if you had the time.
Maybe even a video - don't give any secrets away of course. It would just be interest to know how you go about making your wonderful creations.

    Thanks. Keep it up.

    Hi, Thanks for your interest!

Well, I start with an idea - like a magazine article or a poem and start by sketching idea down, normally the general shapes first, playing around with shapes and colours. Then I do a few sketches of the figures until I can get excited about them. I trace my sketches in illustrator, using lots of pathfinder, and also i use the knife tool alot to cut out the shadowy areas.

This all gets copied and pasted into photoshop where I play with sizes, colours and add textures, mostly my own textures (scanned in experiments with ink and paint). That’s about it :) Sometimes it works and sometimes it’s crap so I put it away and try to forget about it! Mostly (luckily) I’m pleased with it which is why sketching stuff out first really helps.

I hope that’s interesting for you, I couldn’t really do a video, the process is long and It changes a little every time - I’m still learning how to do it :)
